Rabbi Haskel Lookstein is the Rabbi of Congregation Kehilath Jeshrun in Manhattan and principal of the RAMAZ school. A graduate of Columbia College, he received an MA in Rabbinics and a PhD in Modern Jewish History from Bernard Revel Graduate School and Ordination from Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan Theological Seminary. Rabbi Lookstein is a past President of Yeshiva University Rabbinic Alumni and Professor of Humanties at REITS and has published widely in Tradition, Shma, Congress Monthly and Moment. He is also the author of Were We Our Brother's Keepers: The Public Response fo American Jews to the Holocaust. |
