Gitelle Rapoport is a free lance writer and journalist with a special interest in women and halachah. She has been a reporter for the Jewish Week, editor for Amit Magazine, writer for an Edah-sponsored bibliography project and coordinator of the women’s tefillah group at Lincoln Square Synagogue. She was a Woodrow Wilson Fellow, has an MA in English from New York University and has studied at the Drisha Institute for Jewish Education.
