Rabbi Charles Sheer is Jewish Chaplain of Columbia University/Barnard College, a position he has held for over thirty years. He is a graduate of Yeshiva University, has an MA in Talmudic Literature from its Bernard Revel Graduate School and his ordination from RIETS, an affiliate. He is the advisor to various women’s tefillah groups and has been an officer of the Rabbinical Council of America and Yeshiva University’s Rabbinic Alumnae. He is a member of Edah’s Advisory Council.
