Professor Menachem Kellner Haifa, Israel
Wolfson Professor of Jewish Thought, University of Haifa

Professor Menachem Kellner is the Wolfson Professor of Jewish Thought at the University of Haifa. Since earning his BA, MA, and PhD at Washington University (St. Louis), Menachem Kellner has taught at Washington University, the College of William and Mary, and University of Virginia. In addition to his teaching and research responsibilities at the University of Haifa, he has served as Chair of the University’s Department of Maritime Civilizations, and as Dean of Students. He is the author and editor of several books on Jewish Thought, as well as critical editions and translations of works by Abravanel and Gersonides. His most recent book is Must A Jew Believe Anything?
