Promote study in Israel following high school graduation
NEED:
Both observation and sociological study have demonstrated the enormous beneficial impact on intellectual and spiritual growth caused by the post High School year of study in Israeli Yeshivot for both men and women.
PROCESS:
- Assuring accurate parental information about the relative strengths of the various Yeshivot in Israel, will make possible more responsible judgments in matching the schools to the needs of individual students. Combining such parental input with counseling by the local Yeshiva High School staff and close consultation with the individual student, is most likely to produce the most intelligent choice.
- Create an open school data bank of information concerning the various Yeshivot consisting of materials submitted by the Yeshivot as well as signed anecdotal reports submitted by students and parents who attended and dealt with any of the schools.
